Lately I'm thinking about going to Ukrainian Catholic. For most of the 2000's and the 2010's I've had issues with southern Baptists and evangelicals similar to the emotional abuse that you went through with BL. Since August of this year their activities have definitely been suspicious which is why I would feel safer going to a Ukrainian Catholic Church as I see Ukrainians as distant cousins.
